Susan Manning
Susan Manning is a co-host of the LT Green Room.
I help people learn; that’s my bio. Of course it’s never that simple. I spend my days juggling two very diverse groups of learners. In half of my classes, the students are college and university faculty enrolled in Illinois Online Network’s online teaching certificate program. The other part of my day is spent teaching English as a Second Language, both in an academic program and a community-based family program connected with my children’s’ school.
I enjoy the flexibility that allows me to observe these different groups of learners and to reflect what teaching and learning mean to me. These are some of the insights I share in the LT Green Room, a podcast of informal conversations about learning.
Susan Manning holds degrees from Truman State University (communications), Bowling Green State University (college student personnel) and Ball State University (doctorate in adult and community education and higher education administration).
