Show Notes:
Andrea’s business is all about reminding us that learning needs to be accessible to everyone, regardless of culture. Some of the factors to consider include context, language, and instructional strategies, in addition to graphics and colors.
Andrea refers to the Cultural Adaptation Process (CAP) Model. You can read more about it and consider case studies through an ASTD Infoline publication.

Last summer I taught a course in Systematic Theology (Christian tradition) in two very different countries in southeast Asia. The text they wanted to use was produced in the USA with US/western theology students as the identified target group. I taught Face-to-Face. It was absolutely critical that I create a course with content structured for each of those countries and, as possible for the varied cultures present within each country. Hearing about Andrea’s work and the insights she provides, as well as the CAP model, was a blessing. Thanks for having her on this production!
